As a visitor to The McDonald Theatre, one could expect to walk through an elegantly grand foyer for pre-show mingling. At this time, depending on the event, one can enjoy an alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage of choice, appetizers and menu items offered to you by the McDonald Theater staff. A dramatic new addition to the McDonald Theatre is the cocktail lounge accessible directly from the lobby area. This room is only open in conjunction with theatre events, but is available for private party rental. Seating at the Theatre is designed to maximize both comfort as well as visibility. Our theatre is one of the few venues in the area to offer traditional balcony seating. When viewing the seating arrangement of the McDonald Theatre there are multiple seating options that can be discussed when booking an event. The most popular seating arrangements are as follows: * Fully seated show accommodating 780 patrons. Upper Balcony seating as well as floor seating. * Partially seated show accommodating between 800-1000 patrons. Fully seated balcony and partially seated floor. * Open floor shows accommodate up to 1250 patrons. Fully seated balcony and open floor. *Limited seating events. In an effort to provide a comfortable atmosphere for all of our patrons we would like the public to note that the majority of our shows are general admission. For those shows that are billed as limited seating, seats will not be available for all ticket holders, however there will be a combination of seating, dancing, and standing area.
